I’ve been serving Ida Grove since: 2014 as a City Council Member at Large. I have also actively served the community as a board member for the Ida Grove Chamber of Commerce, Chair of Ida County Relay for Life, member of Ida Grove Kiwanis Club (term as President, board member, founding Key Club Sponsor), Vice President of the Ida Grove Foundation, Co-Chair of the King Theater Board, and member of the BCIG School Board.
Why I Serve: I serve to help facilitate positive change in our community. I would love to see us as a growing small Iowa town, not a shrinking one. I like the ability to make a difference and to understand the problems as they happen, so I can better understand the potential solutions.
I Love Ida Grove: I think it is the greatest small town in America. It has an excellent school system, amazing large industry, big banks, a hospital, golf course and Rec Center. We offer more than most towns that are much larger. The people are great and it is a beautiful place to live.
My Passions: My family, my Cyclones, my Cubs, my work, sports and doing things that make a difference to people.
My Dream for Ida Grove: To grow, to improve, to evolve into a better place than it is now. Be a great, safe place for families to grow and thrive.
