If you’ve been stateside or worldwide, chances are that you’ve been exposed to Ida Grove’s products and services. From the roads we all drive on, to solutions for recreation on the water, Ida Grove has a wide range of agricultural, retail and service oriented businesses.

The City of Ida Grove is served by a mayor and five council persons. They meet on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Ida Grove also has a seven-person Planning & Zoning Commission, and a five-person Board of Adjustment. Commission meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. and board meetings are held on an individual basis.
Ida Grove has a City Clerk, a Project Management Clerk and a Community Development Clerk. Clerk offices are located at City Hall at 403 3rd Street and staff are available by calling 712-364-2428.
The City’s Public Works Department serves the areas of water, waste-water, parks and streets. Public Works offices are located at 1200 West 1st Street and staff are available by calling 712-364-2989
Ida County is served by three supervisors, a county attorney, county sheriff, county treasurer, county auditor, county assessor, county recorder and county clerk. Offices for these positions can be found in the Ida County Courthouse, 401 Moorehead Street.
