Lake City author Darcy Dougherty Maulsby will visit the Ida Grove Public Library on October 22nd to share her expertise on Iowa. You’re invited to attend her 5:30 p.m. program “Explore Iowa’s Amazing Barn Quilts”. This event is free and open to the public.Following the program, Maulsby will sell and sign copies of her non-fiction, illustrated Iowa history books, including Iowa Agriculture: A History of Farming, Family and Food; A Culinary History of Iowa; Calhoun County; Dallas County; Classic Restaurants of Des Moines and Their Recipes; Madison County; and The Lincoln Highway in Iowa: A History.
