Ida Grove Library to host local author, Douglas Clough
The Ida Grove Library is honored to host guest speaker, Douglas Clough, on Thursday, November 7th at 6:30 pm. Clough, local author, and Ida Grove resident will speak about his newly published books, Colorful Characters from Our Backyard: 2009-2019 and Life, Love, and Laughter from My Backyard: 2009-2019. Read Hard. Play Hard. Stop in for a one of a kind mini-golf experience @ your library! Our six hole mini-golf course may not challenge your golf skills, but it sure will be a lot of fun and you may find some new reading adventures along the way. No registration is required, just stop in between 1pm and 3pm to participate. All supplies provided, no need to bring your own clubs.

Come out and celebrate summer with a pool party summer picnic! We'll be at the Recreation Center's Outdoor pool. Picnic lunches will be provided for children and families signed up for the summer program. Open Swim will be from 10:30 am to noon for registered children and their parents/caregivers/guardians. Following open swim, the library will provide picnic lunches along with certificates and incentives for completing the summer reading program.
