A mini-mystery @ the library. We need your help to figure out who stole Santa's magic bag of gifts! Without your help finding that bag, Christmas may be cancelled. Sign up is required to reserve a time slot, each group must have 8 or 16 players.

Read Hard. Play Hard. Stop in for a one of a kind mini-golf experience @ your library! Our six hole mini-golf course may not challenge your golf skills, but it sure will be a lot of fun and you may find some new reading adventures along the way. No registration is required, just stop in between 1pm and 3pm to participate. All supplies provided, no need to bring your own clubs.

A special holiday edition of our stuffed animal sleepover! Bring your stuffed animals to spend the night at the library! To participate: drop off your stuffed friends by 6pm on December 30th; we will keep them entertained all evening with plenty of New Year's shenanigans. Iowa PBS STEAM Trailer
Stop by the city park for a FREE, fun, family event with the Iowa PBS STEAM trailer. All ages are invited to join us for exploration and play as we host the STEAM Trailer filled with activities centered around science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The Iowa PBS STEAM trailer will be located in the city park from 12 pm -4 pm on Saturday, June 26th.

Everyone loves magic, right? Join us for a special Reading Safari Magic Show with Magician Jeff Quinn. Reading Safari is a 40-45 minute show featuring animal-themed tricks; lots of audience participation, clean humor and lots of fun. Plan to participate in this year's Heritage Days program at the library! Mrs. Bogue will provide a special summer Storytime on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:30 to kick off our stuffed animal sleepover. Find out more »Summer Reading Pool Party and Picnic
Come out and celebrate summer with a pool party summer picnic! We'll be at the Recreation Center's Outdoor pool. Picnic lunches will be provided for children and families signed up for the summer program. Open Swim will be from 10:30 am to noon for registered children and their parents/caregivers/guardians. Following open swim, the library will provide picnic lunches along with certificates and incentives for completing the summer reading program.
