King Theatre Community Input Meeting
The King Theatre Renovation Board, along with architect Daric O'Neal, will present to the community on Tuesday, February 7th from 6 - 8 pm on the progress of the King Theatre Project. Special City Council Meeting
Our Ida Grove City Council will hold a special meeting Thursday, March 2nd, at 5:00 pm to discuss the anticipated vacancy of the seat representing Ward I. Jeff Buehler, who currently holds the Ward I spot, is moving outside the city limits. The appointment will run through the end of the 2017 calendar year with this seat up for general election this November.

Annual Community Barbecue
The Ida Grove Fire Department will be hosting their Annual Community Barbecue Fundraiser on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. A meal including burgers, beans, chips and drink will be available for a free will donation, as well as free truck rides for the children and a jaws of life demonstration at 5:30 and 6:30. The City of Ida Grove will be holding a Steering Committee meeting for the City's Comprehensive Plan with assistance from Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council (SIMPCO). The meeting will be held on Monday October 2nd at 5pm in the City Council Chambers. The City of Ida Grove is interviewing engineering firms to represent the city on large public works projects. The interviews for the firms will run from 11:00 am to 11:45am on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 403 3rd Street. Ida Grove Source Water Community Kick-Off
Conservation Districts of Iowa has partnered with the DNR to provide communities access to a Source Water Community Facilitator. Bridget Durst servers Northwest Iowa to provide support during the Source Water Protection Planning process.
