Local author Kim Claussen is set to visit the library on April 8, 2017 from 10am to 12pm. Join us for a special program on Kim's first book "Till Tomorrow". There will be a short presentation followed by a question and answer session and book signing. Books will be available for sale during the program for $16.05 (including tax). Light refreshments will be served, so make sure to mark your calendars and join us on April 8th!

In preparation for the 2017 Great American Eclipse on August 21st, the library will be showing the movie Apollo 13 on Thursday, August 17th beginning at 5:30pm. All ages are welcome to attend this special event. Popcorn will be provided, feel free to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages in a sealed container. The Ida Grove Library has joined more than 1,000 libraries across the country to participate in the celestial event of the century, the August 21, 2017 Solar Eclipse.
