OABCIG Homecoming 2023

We are cheering on our OABCIG Falcons tonight as they play against MVAOCOU at 7pm.

There will be lots of exciting activities going on today! Enjoy the Homecoming parade today at 4:00, tailgating at the OABCIG High School at 4:30 with games, food, and fun, followed by the Homecoming game.

Homecoming Parade

OABCIG’s Homecoming Parade is tonight at 6 p.m. with a pre-parade grill out starting at 5 p.m. Come on down and help cheer on our Falcons! Coronation begins at 7 p.m., followed by the Pep Rally and Super Class Night at 8 p.m. at the OABCIG High School.

3rd Graders Tour City Hall

Third grade students from OABCIG visited the temporary City Hall on Friday. The students were able to speak to the Mayor, City Clerk, and two of the Council members and learn about local government. 

Congratulations OABCIG Dance Team

We would like to congratulate our OABCIG Girls Dance Team on their State Championship in Class 1 Contemporary and their 4th place finish in Class IV Hip Hop! Congratulations also to the 5 soloist performers that earned the Division 1 rating in Class IV solos! Way to Go! OABCIG Proud!

Area Students Visit City Hall

3rd graders from OABCIG recently visited Ida Grove City Hall. Students had a great time touring the facility, meeting the City Clerk and Mayor, learning about local Government and more! If you or your organization are interested in touring City Hall, please contact us for more details.

OABCIG FFA Members Beautify Downtown

The City of Ida Grove would like to thank the members of the OABCIG Future Farmers of America (FFA) for taking the time to beautify the downtown area of Ida Grove. The group, under the tutelage of Dan Remer, Shelley Malcom and Byron Peters, planted flowers in the pots along 2nd and Main Streets. The City of Ida Grove would also like to thank the Chamber of Commerce for their generous donation of time and materials to this wonderful project. If you know of or see a member of the FFA, please thank them for a job well done. Thanks to everyone involved!
