Prior to the Regular City Council Meeting on Monday, May 19th, the Spotts family gathered in the Council Chambers for a viewing of the council desk, tables, chairs and honorary plaque that were purchased with the $25,000 memorial donation in honor of the late Robert Spotts who served two terms on the City Council.

The Robert and Kathryn Spotts family presented a generous donation in the amount of $25,000.00 to furnish the newly constructed City Council Chambers. The donation is in honor of the late Robert Spotts, who served on City Council from 1972-1979. His wife Kathryn, also assisted in many elections. The Council Chambers will be completed with a plaque in honor of Robert and Kathryn.
